i kno my mom has hiv/aids, (she has all symptoms of advanced hiv and i snooped around in her closet and found Prezista) but when i asked her she claimed to only have hep c. she said hep c causes immunodeficiency same as hiv. true?

I’m a 4th year medical student from Australia. HepC does not cause immunodeficiency, and the fact that your mom has prezista suggests that she has HIV. I would tell her that you love her no matter what, and try to enjoy the time you have with her. If she has advanced AIDS she could get very sick in a few years time, so enjoy your time together for now.
