How fast did clomid work for women with PCOS and very irregular periods?

ive just done the second round of clomid and take a blood test for pregnancy tomorrow. the odds of multiples on clomid are twins 7% and triplets 3% so not very high at all.
also my period is every 60-65 days
I only had a cycle 3-4 times a year. Gyno diagnosed me with pcos because of the lack of cycles. I took metformin for 3 months then started clomid at 50 mg with no luck then they doubled my dose to 100 mg which did the trick. I am now 7wks5d with my first ultrasound in 5 days so i hope we find only one =) … so far we have a happy healthy pregnancy
I had my first round of clomid, 50mg 3-7 got pregnant first go.
i hear increase risk of twins if you have more then one follie, i did, so will find out in a week if i do.
